What if the Armor of God was Real?

What is the Armor of God?

The Armor of God is listed in Ephesians 6:

  • Belt of Truth
  • Breastplate of Righteousness
  • Feet Fitted with Gospel of Peace
  • Shield of Faith
  • Helmet of Salvation
  • Sword of the Spirit

Most people think of them as purely spiritual weapons, not meant to be taken literally.  But what if they were real?  What would they look like?

Demons are stealing the Hopes and Dreams of the people of Stanton while they sleep. The citizen's sleeping spirit connects to the Dream Collection Center where the demons pull their dreams right from their minds. Who can thrive without hope or dreams?

The demons are also amongst us.  They come in different shapes and sizes, but all do the bidding of their dark Lord and delight in tormenting mortals.  Some small demons sit on citizens’ shoulders and whisper evil into their minds during the day. Others roam about causing mischief.

God commissions Caleb Kincade to track down the Armor of God so it can be used to destroy the demons infesting Stanton. But the Armor of God does not appear as the finest armor ever made, rather it looks like junk to the human eye.  How could it be effective against the spawn of Satan?

Caleb can see demons and with the Armor of God, he can destroy them. Along the way Caleb meets Pastor Bob, Caroline and Gloria. They join Caleb in the quest for the Armor of God.

The DCC sits on the edge of the physical and spiritual worlds, connecting to both. Caleb and company battle demons to release the stolen Hopes of the people.

The demons respond by sending an assassin.  Bob, Caroline and Gloria battle the assassin in the physical world while Caleb battles the demonic leader in the spiritual realm.
